Pires has a sicknote for Saturdays game...
Bobby Pires who was the GBH victim of Philip Neville on
Monday in the 2-0 win against Everton has limped out of
the game this weekend against the Happy Hammers. A thigh
injury to him puts him out, there's also major doubts about
Camp Freddie and Dutch Master Dennis Bergkamp making the
game against West Ham.
Pires who was fuming after the challenge by the
ex Manchester USA thug & part time player said after
the game against Everton that Neville the Younger set out
to injure him - well the Frenchman seems to be spot on
with that one.
Saturday's game looks like it will be all change for The
Arsenal as the attacking options have been hit, what with
captain & all round Mr Nice Guy Thierry Henry out for
about another month as well. The likely candidates to replace
the 'sicknotes' look to be Robin van Persie, José Antonio
Reyes & Alexander Hleb. Sol Campbell looks set
to continue in his captain & designated goal scorer routine
as well, which is nice.
Camp Freddie in 'We believe' shout
Freddie Ljungberg has spoken out & is trying to convince
any Arsenal pessimists out there. The SuperSwede™ even
though The Arsenal sold off The Old Lady playing Patrick
Vieira & injury ridden Edu has said in this exclusively
gleaned report "The club is moving in the right direction
and I want to play at the new stadium. I spoke a lot with
the boss about the future and he thought the same as me.
The club is going places and I am very happy here at Arsenal." Which
is nice.
Paddy has a few words
Arsenal midfield reject Patrick Vieira has warned The
Arsenal that they have to match Captain Thierry Henry's
own ambitions if the French star man is to sign a new contract
& stay longer in North London. King Henry who's been
linked to more clubs than Tiger Woods owns has always insisted
that he has no desire to leave The Arsenal & loves the
club & the fans, something Paddy who was always perennially
linked to Real Madrid never did has told allgoonerdup.com
in this exclusively gleaned report "Thierry, I know that
he's talking to the club about a new contract. I think
when you want to keep your best players you have to bring
some new ones. To do well in Europe you need to have a
good team. A few years ago at Arsenal we had a really good
team but we didn't play well enough to win a European trophy."
Vieira who was flogged
to Juventus during the summer sales continued "I came
back from holiday and there was an offer from Juventus
and the club didn't refuse and I didn't refuse as well
so that's why I'm here. You always want to go somewhere
you can win what you didn't last year." He said rather
glumly whilst polishing his FA Cup winners medal.
Walking in an Arsenal Wunderland
It's
win a t-shirt time again. After the last competition we
thought it would be rude not to give you boys and girls
the chance to win this gem.
Harderthansatan the uber cool t-shirt boys have produced
this new t-shirt in homage to Highbury. All you need to
do is answer this simple question. The new stadium is of
course named The Emirates Stadium, but if it was up to
you - what would you call it? Remember the funnier the
better.
Email us the usual address, you'll find it in 'contact

Competition ends 7 October.
