Who's up for playing Citeh?
With The Arsenal treatment room more busy than an A&E
down Essex after a Friday night drink up, the team for
the visit of northern monkeys Manchester Citeh pretty much
picks itself. The likes of long term 'sick notes' Alexander
Hleb and Ashley Cole wont be available until December which
has been much publicised. However José
Antonio Reyes, Freddie Ljungberg and Sol Campbell wont
be featuring this weekend due to their various ailments.
Young Gypsy Reyes who had his ribs tickled against Sparta
Prague isn't as bad as first thought. The rib isn't broken
but badly bruised (ouch!), but it's believed he will be
out for a matter of days rather than weeks. Camp Freddie
and The Rocks comebacks however have not been penciled
in.
No team news as yet has been disclosed, however the players
who were in Prague in the va va voom inspired 2-0 win will
be in contention, as there's no one else available. The
only probable change being a case of Double Dutch - with
Dennis Bergkamp coming in for Robin van 'Lord' Persie.
Arsenal (from): Lehmann, Almunia, Lauren, Eboue, Clichy,
Toure, Cygan, Senderos, Gilberto, Fabregas, Flamini, Song,
Pires, van Persie, Henry, Bergkamp, Owusu-Abeyie.
Pires gets mouthy
Contract rebel and D'Artagnan looking midfield player
Bobby Pires has stated he wants to see if The Arsenal can
match his ambition whilst he weighs up his options of signing
on the dotted line.
The cheeky bugger who has been playing, well, rubbish
so far this season said in this exclusively gleaned report
said "I
agreed with Arsene Wenger to start the season and to have
another meeting in January. Then I will see if the club's
ambitions please me or not. People are asking a lot of
me and I want to improve in my areas where I am weak such
as competitiveness and working on the defensive aspect
to my game."
Pick the bones out of that..
With The Arsenal captain and all round Mr Nice Guy Thierry
Henry breaking The Arsenal goal scoring record - Just which
goal do you think is King Henry's best. Email us your top
three goals scored by the jet propelled swashbuckling forward.
Will it be the smash and lob against Manchester USA from
30 yards, the 60 yard run taking on all takers against
Tottenham at Highbury or his cheeky back heel against Charlton
last season? Well you're not in short supply, you have
186 of the buggers to choose from.

Walking in an Arsenal Wunderland - last chance
It's
still up for grabs.. After losing a lot of information
when Allgoonerdup had problems with the server recently,
actually make that lost ALL the t-shirt contest info. The
competition to win this fine t-shirt was extended. We had
loads of good answers first time round but frankly the
next batch were rubbish, even Bobby Davro could do better!
So we're going to make it easier to win the Wunderland
t-shirt. The new question is why should you win it? Simple,
isn't it? The winner gets picked out magic hat next
Monday 24 October.

round-up in 60 seconds or less...
Mr Adams,
Tony 'Mr Arsenal' Adams has revealed to a Dutch magazine
he would like one day to return to management... Thierry
Henry has said that The Arsenal haven't replaced Patrick
Vieira (remember him?) and his absence is casting a shadow
over the side... Arsène
Wenger isn't impressed with France
announcing a fun in the sun game against Costa Rica in
Martinique to raise funds for victims of an air crash.
The wily Frenchman has said that he will reluctantly
release King Henry for the game, as it's also the birthplace
of our record goal scorers' mother. However many a site/paper
has reported that Henry will incense Saint Wenger by
wanting to play, that would be the same sites/papers
that have jumped on the King Henry stories to Barcelona
as he says he wont discuss a new extension until the
summer... According to a few sites/papers including the
Daily Mirror (so it must be true) The Arsenal are 'allegedly'
lining up a swoop for Atletico Madrid striker Fernando
Torres... that's it for now... au reviour mon amis...
Keep it locked.
