The Arsenal 2 Set Pieces 2

HOW many more times are we going to see the undoing of The Arsenal by set pieces? There was a time when every team feared The Arsenal at set pieces (even when it was THEIR corner) but jesus I fear every time we give away free kicks or corners. The Arsenal came out the blocks firing on all cylinders with King Henry scoring before a few people had taken their seats and what a shot - the ball flew in like a rocket and left Peter Cech and the Chelski defenders stunned. But before you knew it Chelski equalised from a set piece with a trademark header from the King of the Chavs John Terry (didn't anyone in the Arsenal dressing room talk about him before the game?). The Arsenal then regained the lead through a cheeky (some say) - we call it quick thinking freekick by King Henry which left the chavs 2-1 down.

However at the interval José Money then made two changes and before you knew it and before I had even put my pint down the chavs had equalised in some 30seconds after the restart. GREAT! and from yet another set piece. That was about it as the teams then cancelled each other out - both teams went close but for The Arsenal King Henry should of scored but we'll forgive him as he scored twice and Flamini was unlucky not to get a penalty decision when Scott Parker barged him over with the ball no where in sight. So looking back on this match it's two points dropped but what is more disconcerting is that The Arsenal are now in third place and behind the thieving scouser's of Everton.. jesus - who would of thought it?

Chelski match - my verdict - reaction

We should of won, simple as that - this will be a match we look back on and think that's two more points which we should of had all bagged up. But again the plus points are that Cesc continues to impress in the middle of the park and with (if the reports are true) Edu leaving in the summer it's not all doom and gloom because on this showing I believe Cesc would keep him out of the team. But what a week - we seem to be back on track, well we can't afford not to be.
