Here we go - the big 'un |
OK, let's not beat about the bush we know what we need
to do and that is to beat the chav scum of Chelski this
Sunday. For The Arsenal this is a 'must win' game - that
term is used way too much however in this case it is. Simply
put - it's must win for two reasons, the first is we need
to claw back some of that five point lead and secondly we
need to teach those bragging lottery winners a lesson in
modesty and thirdly (just for good measure) someone has
to stop them thinking they have won the league before xmas.
Dennis Bergkamp will lead the troops out again, with the
only dead cert change being Ralph Lauren coming in for Justin
Hoyte at right back. Hoyte had an outstanding game against
Rosenberg and it's only a matter of time before he takes
over from Lauren full time, such is his ability - looks
like we have rolled out another Ashley Cole 'Best left back
in the world'™. The keeper situation is still up for
grabs with both Almunia and Lehmann showing they can both
make skool boy mistakes at the highest level. Freddie is
still suffering from a migraine so that should allow the
rediscovered José 'Lord Lucan' Reyes to continue
on the left. Dennis Bergkamp has been in the media saying
he believes The Arsenal back on track - let's hope so and
stick it to the chavs. |

UEFA Champions League draw |
The draw for the first round knock out stages of the
Champions League takes place on Friday 17th December probably
somewhere in Switzerland. Such is the concocted manner the
draw is made means Arsenal know they can't face another
English team or PSV who finished Group E runners-up. So
feast your eyes on the teams The Arsenal could face: Barcelona,
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen or Porto. As we
finished group winners that means we play the away leg first...
which is nice. |

Chelski game - my verdict |
Must admit - I'm feeling more confident about this game
than I was a week ago, but here's the bad news Chelski aren't
no Birmingham City or a bunch of Viking out on a London
shopping trip. This game will be very difficult and will
tell us a lot about both teams. The key area on the battle
field will be Robben vs 'Ralph' Lauren - no player in the
Premiership or Europe has shown how to stop Robben so far.
And without Le Boss Vieira the midfield duo of 'Cesc' and
Flamini will need to be playing the game of their lives.
This game could go either way but I do think there will
be goals - we've just got to see whether they're winners
or cancel each other out. But I fancy after all this big
hype that it will end in a draw. |

60 Second round-up |
Edu is surprised by the contract ultimatum given to
him by Saint Wenger..... Drgoba is talking it up stating
The Arsenal are scared of the south west scum Chelski...
Stuart Taylor has extended his loan deal with the footballing
giants Leicester City, conceding just one goal in three
games, which effectively means he won't be coming back to
Highbury...Saint Wenger says 'Alex is his hero', don't choke
boys (and girls) it's Alexander The Great not that whiskey
smelling, purple faced jock... |
