Londoner's mugged in Liddypool

It wasn't quite the Great train robbery, but arguably it was a rubbery. Neil 'Pies' Mellor scored a 25 yarder with the last kick of the game to condemn The Arsenal to their second defeat in six games. But amazingly enough or perhaps not, it was from a set piece, a set piece about 5 yards FROM the Liddypool goal line. Again we showed that we couldn't challenge in the middle of the park, especially when it comes to winning headers or knock downs. Liddypool's winning goal was pure route one, however they scored and won the game.

The Arsenal's first half performance, and we use that term very loosely, was probably as bad a 45 minutes as we've ever seen. Not one shot on target, not an attack to write home about and the less said about the first 45 minutes the better. Actually even over the whole 90 minutes there was only about 5-10 minutes where The Arsenal played any football we gooners have been accustomed to. The only players to come out the game with any plus points or could say they done something was Ashley Cole 'The best left back in the world™', Sol 'The Rock' Campbell, Kolo Toure, Ralph and Cesc. Ok 'Le Boss' Vieira scored The Arsenal goal but over the 90 minutes he wasn't The Vieira we all know and to cap it all he picked up a yellow card which now rules him out of the now must win game against Chelski. Le Boss was very lucky not to see red when it appeared he had gone past a player and went down under a 'non-challenge' - not too sure what Le Boss was thinking on that one, I know one thing though - He is too good for all that diving shite.

The Arsenal need to dig deep and start to get back to winning ways and if it means winning ugly, well I'm sure gooners would take that.

Thank f*ck that November is over

November has always been a bad month for The Arsenal, we at allgoonerdup.com say roll on December! Hopefully the results will now start to go in our favour.. well we can hope.

The Rock to pen the ink

After seeing our defensive frailties it comes as good news, actually skip that, it comes as some f*ck off proper news Sol 'The Rock' Campbell is ready to spend the rest of his career at The Arsenal. The Rock says he's very close to signing an extension to his contract which expires in the summer 2005.

Liverpool match -  my verdict - reaction

Gutted! Not too much more can say about this match, well apart from: If King Henry is only 70% fit, why don't we rest him, it's starting to show. Pires and Reyes? Were they at the game? Le Boss - what's with the diving? Another set piece scored against us, isn't it about time to get in a defensive coach?
