Cygan's head hands gift
to the Greeks

It was all looking too comfortable for The Arsenal in last nights Champions League game against the Greek Champions from Athens. Leading 1- nil from a dubious penalty scored by King henry The Arsenal were cruising when in the 74th minute 'Le Grande Oak' Pascal Cygan scored an agonising equalising own goal. This saw The Arsenal now draw THREE games in a row in the Champions League after finding the net first. A very disappointing result from what promised to be an entertaining affair - Bergkamp went close as did Reyes who after a minute as coming on as sub brought a point blank save from the keeper and then crashing the rebound against the cross bar..  that's about as good as it got for us after the Greeks scored. The Greek champions even had a penalty which Greek international Bassinas blazed high and wide, who according to reports supports The Arsenal - thank f**k for that, it could of been a lot worst if he wasn't a Gooner.. Good work fella.

The Arsenal facing injury crisis

With our already makeshift defence looking a bit shaky - more bad news as two of our defensive 'rocks' have been sidelined for longer periods than expected. Gilberto Silva and Sol 'The Rock' Campbell face even longer out. In Sols case he is set to miss the mouth-watering tie against his old paymasters, The Scum. Full story here.

Panathinaikos game - my verdict - reaction

Well I did think we would have a nervy draw and I was right. Not too sure why we cant quite get it right in Europe,  however after our much publicised 'dip' in form I wasn't expecting us to set europe on fire. Can't be arsed to analyse this game, just hope when we play Rosenberg in the next round we actually kill the tie off.
