Here we go again ANOTHER Real Geri-atico's
link.
No not Patrick Vieira, although
you can count of that being one for the summer.
This time the Real Geri-atico's are after our very
own radio prank boy, José Antonio Reyes.
In what has to be said has been a very patchy spell
for his time at The Arsenal, young Reyes is wanted
by the former Spanish giants to put them back on
the map. The Geri-atico's Sporting Director Emile
Butrous-Butrous Butragueno has 'allegedly' spoken
to The Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein (Double
D - to members of the board) about a possible move.
However it is reported that Mr Deino told him to
'jog on'
With Michael Owen not figuring enough in Madrid's
plans, it is widely believed that he would be a
make weight in a swap deal if the young gypsy was
to move on. According to more gleaned reports, The
Arsenal have 'allegedly' only put down £10m
of the supposed £17m for Reyes just in case
the boy didn't settle in London.
Even though Mr Deino told the Geri-atico's that
no deal would be struck, don't expect that to be
the end of that story. Expect more 'Vieira to Madrid'
stories too, it's nearly summer time after all. |

...and the Winner is.... |
The lucky Winner of the Dennis
Bergkamp t-shirt is a Gooner by the name of Stella.
We'll bring you more info soon. Well done gooner.
The question was, against which teams did DB10 score
his first and 100th goals against? The answers were
of course, first goal - Southampton (scorcher) 100th
goal Oxford United (not so scorcher). |

Campbell retelling injury hell |
Sol 'The Rock' Campbell has been telling the
media of his injury hell and how when he recovered
from one he immediately got another. The Rock of
The Arsenal defence has not played since that infamous
4-2 reversal at the hand s of Manchester Red Wildcats
when Mikhel Silvestre stamped on his ankle. The
Sol man also praises young Swiss defender Philippe 'the new
Tony Adams' Senderos
who is currently keeping him out of the team. But
Sol being the consummate professional says the young
lad deserves his place and it's up to himself to
displace him. |

Thierry models new shirt |
As
you can see from our 'exclusive' shot The Arsenal
goal machine and all round Mr Nice Guy Thierry Henry
models the new home shirt for the 2006 season which
will the last one to grace Highbury.
The 'redcurrant' home shirt is of course based on
the first shirt The Arsenal ran out in Highbury
in. It will go on sale from 22 June in all good
sports shops and probably some rubbish ones too.

round-up in 60 seconds or less.. |
Saint Wenger has been impressed
with the progress the kids has made this year and
reckons they will push The Bank of Chelsea all the
way next season... As we like to give credit where
it's due, let's all say well done to the northern
monkeys Liverpool in beating Chelsea last night.
Let's hope they will be too knackered to put up
a fight against a proper attacking team on Sunday...
Surprisingly no news on players been linked to The
Arsenal today, shocker isn't it?... that's
it Keep it locked, more news at 11. |
