Don't panic - Helb
is on it's way |
According to reports
gleaned from the German Stuttgarter Nachrichten
newspaper based in Stuttgart, the illusive Alexand er
Helb is on his way to The Arsenal. After a few weeks
of the Belarussian being linked to The Arsenal it
looks like he might actually get to play in the
red and white of Arsenal, er make that the fruity
blackcurrant number.
Saint Wenger had this to say "The transfer
will be completed in the next few days. I think
he can start packing his bags to come to us,"
Well that's what ze Germans newspaper quoted. Oh
and the Beeb have been credited with a bit of news
on it at as well, reporting that The Arsenal have
upped their opening bid from £4.75m to £6m
to get ze Germans to the table and chat business.
There were reports in numerous news papers and web
sites that Saint Wenger was stalling on the deal
for Helb as he was pursuing SWWWP, we shall see.

Cygan doesn't want
to be a Nancy boy |
Highbury cult hero
Pascal Cygan has decided to turn down the possibility
of a transfer to newly promoted French team Nancy.
Cygan (pictured) has 'allegedly' said he wants to
fight for his Arsenal place, where he has fallen
behind in the pecking order. Cygan has fallen so
far behind that Frank McLinktock is still on Saint
Wenger's rolladex 'just in case'. |

Guti: gu -ti, gu-ti
be, gu-ti be.. a Gooner |
(Say it slowly...)
OK well it does work when you say it, no one has
used it so here's another allgoonerdup.com 'exclusive'
and that will be the chant IF the Spaniard does
come to Highbury.
Anyway on with the story, Real Geri-atico's second
pin-up boy and all round bench warmer Guti has said
if he does leave the Madrid club he wants to join
The Arsenal. Real have said as much they won't stand
in the way of the midfield player should he decide
to leave for pastures new.
'Allegedly' Real have reported that Italians Juventus
are after the crafty play maker as well. Meaning
not only are they not going to stand in Guti's way
they also want to get top dollar in a bidding war
for him, cynical? who us? |

Every 'keeper and his
dogg linked to The Arsenal |
We should actually
make a list or table of which keepers The Arsenal
are reportedly interested in as it increases and
gets more 'interesting' or is that annoying every
day.
Today's 'keepers and none which would have you thinking
'Yep, sign him up' are revealed as, Jose Reina (ok
we've heard of him) who plays for Villareal and
wanted by Liverpool, Jan Lastuvka who plays for
Shakhtar Donetsk and Rennes stopper and reas Isaksson.
Reports Saint Wenger actually giving Stuart Taylor
a go between the sticks are 'reportedly' well wide
of the mark, who will certainly leave should The
Arsenal sign a (decent) keeper, hopefully he will
take Manuel Almunia with him when and if he does
head through the revolving Arsenal goal keeping
door. |

as the awards will be on the website very soon.
Email the site if you have your own idea for a particular
award, all emails welcomed and will be laughed at,
hopefully.

The Arsenal, Tranmere defender Ryan Taylor
and some French guy called Emanuel Adebayor, who
plays for one of Saint Wenger's old clubs, Monaco...
Apparently the move for 16 year old Jack Hobbs has
broken down. Reports that the move has broken down
'Is it cos I is English' have said to be wide
of the mark and more to do we selling on fees and
compensation blah blah blah... Channel 4 have commissioned

Stadium killing over a thousand fans. The film is
