With Julio 'The Beast' of Baptista turning down the contract offered to him by Seville it is widely thought that if the sun worshipping merchant that is David Dein coughs up some more booty we will land the Brazilian striker, which is nice. As you know the permanently suntanned one offered £8m and the Spanish outfit are believed to what around a cool £10m for their star man.

Not one to play a game of 21 with old Stevie G with his, "er.. stick... er... twist... er.. stick... er twist..." repeat till fade. However you got to laugh at the fickle Liverpool supporters who were burning the 'traitors' shirt at 9pm the other night than ram raiding the club shop and all good sport shops Wednesday morning at 9am for their 'heroes' shirt. Some scouser's even getting up earlier than their hub cap nicking or burglary rounds. Well done Stevie G - priceless.
