Oh for Real, here we
go again |
It must be summer,
it's 'official' Real Madrid have 'allegedly' put
a bid in for Captain Paddy, well that's according
to the Sunday rag that is the News of the world.
After last weeks exclusive that the sharp Armani
suited boys of Juve were coming over to North London
to haggle the price of PV4, now apparently Real
Madrid have entered the bidding.
It actually remains to be seen whether The Arsenal
would want to sell their talismatic captain - however
it's nice to know that it is officially summer now
that Real have confirmed it. Also from another gleaned
report which can be read in full on the BBC sport
website, Captain Paddy wants to have talks regarding
his future. Apparently the Juve Armani suited boys
want to take Captain Paddy for £15m but look
to throw in a few players as a sweetener,
such players as Steven Appiah, Jon Zebina and a
few others who we can't be bothered to name.
As with any transfer story there is conflicting
versions with Sir Peter Hill-Wood claiming "I
think that if something were going on, I would know.
Everything is fine with Patrick as far as I'm aware."
before puffing on a big Havana cigar and young gun
Arturo Lupoli claiming in tomorrows chip paper TuttiSport
that Captain Paddy 'Wants to go". Expect this
one to run for a few more days, weeks etc. |
|
The Beast is for turning |
After the shenanigans
of last weeks on/off transfer twists of Brazilian
Julio 'The Beast' Baptista, you've guessed it -
the story has taken another twist. This time the
non-signing striker has done a 'Steven Gerrard'
and changed his mind again. This time the Brazilian
has said he now wants to stay at Seville. "I
want to stay with Sevilla for one more season. Then
I will be able to gain dual nationality and become
a European citizen. If I went to Arsenal now, I
would not be able to."
Be sure for this story to change again in the next
few minutes, hours, days weeks.. yawn.. yawn. However
it might not of all been in vain as Gooner supremo
of transfers David (Double D) Dein has stopped his
tan quite nicely we're told.
However as we claimed this story will take a twist,
how's this for a twist The Arsenal have been accused
by Seville coach of 'tapping up' The Beast - who
recently said he spoke to Saint Wenger whilst in
Brazil. However Seville claimed The Arsenal have
not received permission to chat to their star man
but remains to be seen whether they are going to
report the Gunners or just moan about it. |
|
The price is Wright |
Well that's what Saint
Wenger wants for Manchester Citeh wing wizard Shaun
Wright-Phillips. He is quoted as saying there are
two transfer markets, one for the Bank of Chelsea
and one for everyone else. At the moment it is claimed
Saint Wenger is poised to make a move for SWWWP
but is waiting to see what opening bid The Bank
of Chelsea are going to make. However according
to some sources and not any to do with ANR, the
SWWP to the Bank of Chelsea is a done deal, watch
this space. |
