Keeper to be signed on Friday |
Saint Wenger has surprisingly let
everyone know that The Arsenal will sign a keeper
on Friday. It could be a case of 'who is it?' but
with Uruguayan keeper Sebastian Viera being heavily
linked to The Arsenal don't be surprised if it's
not him. Monsieur Wenger quite shrewdly had
this to say on Arsenal TV “Certainly I will
bring in another goalkeeper, that should be decided
tomorrow or Friday."
That's it. |

Bobby thinking of Turkey |
Bobby Pires, the free scoring mercurial
midfielder is actually thinking about leaving lovely
North London to test the climate of Turkey, well
it can't be for the football, surely?
Bobby who's still sulking about not being given
a longer contract than the stand ard one year extension
to the over 30 brigade is mulling over the possibility
of donning the shirt of Turkish giants Galatasaray.
In this gleaned report from Le Parisien newspaper,
the goatie bearded one said "I received a proposal
from the Turkish president. It is very interesting,
I will study it. It offers me a three-year contract
and I do not close the door on anybody." |

Cesc to fill Pat's boots? |
Wonder Boy and Bobby Pires lookalikey
'Cesc' has echoed Mathieu Flamini's sentiments by
saying he's the one to fill ex captain PV4's boots.
The youngster who's boot size must be about a third
of Big Pat had this to say "I played many first-team
games last season and that gave me confidence. I
want to keep going and to keep learning. There will
be expectation, but all I can do is what you always
do - try my best and just try to play my game. I
have all the confidence for the team."
"Patrick is an unbelievable person, and as
a footballer as well, but we have to keep going.
He was our captain and it will be difficult, of
course. But I think it is challenge for the young
players as well and we will try to replace him."
Looks like Flamini and Cesc seem likely to battle
it out for the midfield spot alongside Gilberto
as it seems highly unlikely that Saint Wenger is
going to dust off the old cheque book. |

round-up in 60 seconds or less.. |
Alexand er Helb has declared that
Bobby Pires (him again?) was nearly out the door
this summer and was offered the coveted number
7 shirt. However Bobby done a U-turn and Helb
took number 13 instead, well it didn't do Stuart
Taylor any harm... and that's ALL the news today,
bit like a midget covered in sugar - short and sweet....
