The Arsenal in signing shock |
It's true a bloke
done the pub told us, well actually we just read
it on the Sky Sports site, so it must be true eh?
The Arsenal have finally dipped their two's in the
water to make a signing and it's the cousin of the
fellow who used to play for Liverpool that there
Rigobert Song. Well David 'Double D' Deino has finally
got his dusty cheque book out and signed Alex Song,
however it is a loan deal.
The youngster Alex Song, not David Deino who has
played in many of the friendlies during the summer
seems to have impressed Saint Wenger enough to merit
a year long loan deal from newly relegated French
outfit Bastia.
The 18 year old who can play in defence and midfield
was understood to be wanted by French championees
Lyon and Seria A outfit Inter but decided to put
his moniker down on The Arsenal letter headed paper,
which is nice. |

Only one 'Rocky' Rocastle |
The Arsenal have announce that
it's charity for the upcoming season will be that
of former Arsenal Leg-end and stylish midfield player
David Rocastle.
The David Rocastle Trust was founded in memory of
'Rocky' who died too early aged 33 years old in
2001. Read more here.
You can read more about the trust here as well:

Young Ashley loses his appeal |
The London hotel visiting left
back that is Ashley Cole alongside José 'The
Special Case' Money, The Bank of Chelsea coach have
had their 'Tapping up' appeals turned down by the
Manure sponsored F.A. However the panel was nice
enough to reduce their fines from £100,000
and £200,000 respectively to a more economical
£75,000. The (probably) weeks wages shouldn't
hit either's back burners too much.
Young Ashley, however is still intent on fighting
the fine and have this saga crack on for even
longer by appealing to the European courts for Restraint
of Trade. Meaning this is going to drag on even
longer than Vanessa Feltz arse. |

King Thierry in Frank Sinatra shout |
Oh yes it is a slow news day, this
little piece in case you don't know, which you should.
However if you don't, the all round Mr Nice Guy
Terrence says he will take the captaincy and 'Do
it my way' hence the Sinatra link. He is quoted
as saying Big Tone 'Mr Arsenal' Adams was vocal
whereas Big Pat was leading by example and he'll
will take a little from column A and a little
from column B. That's it. |
