Another nine goal thriller?
Tonight's game against
out local 'rivals' is another one of those 'must
win' ones. Anything short of three points will see
the lottery winning chavs
of Sarf West London
buying their first title for nigh on fifty years
making them as successful as our friends up the
road. However the title race is over for this season
and it is more about who pulls up in second place
behind The Bank of Chelsea. With American owned
soccer team Manchester Red Wildcats winning 2-1
against Newcastle yesterday there's only a point
separating the teams.
By no account are the points in the bag and it will
be all to play for. The Arsenal will seek to grab
the 2nd spot and with it to automatically
qualify for the Uefa Champions League, whilst Sp*r
look to continue to their mid table mediocrity and
probably go to Europe via the Inter two bob cup
or some package deal.
The team news ahead of the game is much the same
as the previous game against Chelsea, no Thierry
Henry or Camp Freddie and with Sol 'The Rock' Campbell
on the bench. Again it remains to be seen whether
José Antonio Reyes will start ahead of Lord
van Persie in this 136th North London encounter.
Just to add a bit of spice ahead of the match Wenger
has also come out with that he regrets signing Sp*r
Yorkshire pudding eating goalie Paul Robinson, who
he had watched before his £2m move to the
club. Also José Money the Chelsea manager
always one to have a sound bite has said he wants
The Arsenal to win, so that his team can win the
title for themselves, which is nice. |

Dutch Master talks
in the summer |
Arsenal leg-end Dennis
Bergkamp has been told by Saint Wenger any contract
talks will be held in the summer. In addition Wenger
has added "It's not a tough decision as Dennis
is part of the club and the team, he'll play less
and less, of course, because of his age and you
can understand that.
"But he can still help in training as long
as he keeps fit. It depends on who will come in,
how he will take that situation and how much he
wants to go on. It will not be a money problem though.
Frankly, it has never been a money problem with
him since I've been here.
The Dutch Master who is 36 in May has always said
he would retire from football once he Arsenal contract
ends. |

Pennant to be named a Brum player |
Ex-boxer turned football manager
Steve Bruce is expected to confirm in a press conference
later today that the midland giants have secured
the signature of lamp post smashing, drink driving,
prison tag wearing lag Jermaine Pennant. Pennant
who already has starred for HMP Milton Keynes this
season is expected to be unveiled today in £500,00
deal, which as our sources revel will rise to £3m. |

Tel 'could' miss FA Cup Final |
What was expected to be a minor
injury could have greater ramifications as Saint
Wenger has announced that goal king Thierry Henry
could miss the one chance of land ing any silverware
this season in the form of the FA Cup Final.
Saint Wenger has said "Thierry will certainly
be out for the next two games. He will have another
scan and only then will we know how long he will
be out for in total, he could be out for two, three
or four weeks, but the good thing is that he will
not be out for three months and his future is not
under threat. He is very important to us but the
first thing is his health and , if we feel there
is a risk, then we will not take it. His injury
is a sign that he has pushed his body far, so it's
more of an alert than a bad injury. |

More on Tel |
Thierry
Henry who has collected the PFA Player of the Year
for the past two seasons and is probably fast running
out of mantleplace space has had to make do with
third spot this season. The striker and all round
Mr nice guy came in behind The Bank of Chelsea duo
Frankie Lampard and deserved winner John 'King of
the Chavs' Terry.
Here's a picture celebrating on hearing the news
of his new award.
It wasn't all bad news for The Arsenal leg-end as
he and Ashley "The
best left back in the world™" Cole
were named in the PFA Premiership team of the year
- which is nice.
