Ash in 'splash the cash then make
me captain' plea.
After all the shenanigans by the
Commissioner of Hotels Ashley "The
best left back in the world™" Cole
in recent weeks, is he leaving? Is he staying? The
worlds best left back wants The Arsenal to spend
some filthy lucre so they don't fall too behind
inthe lottery winning chavs
of Sarf West London
slipstream. He also mentions that even with Manure
'chucking their money around' The Arsenal need to
spend some cash and get some experienced players.
With all the media linking young Ash with a summer
move away from Highbury it might come as a surprise
when the young scamp said in the same interview
the old footballers cliche 'anything can happen
in football' that he would one day love to be Arsenal's
captain.
The Rock is solid and back on
course
Sol Campbell came through
another 90 minute run out when he turned out for
the reserves in the 3-1 win against The Hornets
of Watford. Sol who hasn't played a first team game
since February 1st when the Dirrty Mancs kicked
him about a bit and that big plated foreheaded Michael
Silvestre stamped on his ankle.
Although with Philippe 'the new
Tony Adams' Senderos
in command ing form it's not known who Saint Wenger
will throw into the fray against the northern monkeys
of Blackburn Rovers who added "Sol can play
alongside Senderos but it is good that Senderos
is in there and the centre-backs now have a competition.
Senderos has emerged as a hard competitor for everyone."
DB10 new contract not discussed
- here we go again!
It must be that time of the year
again - oh it's spring, we've celebrated St Totteringham
Day, Sp*rs are mid table, a couple of months till
the summer so it must be. Dennis Bergkamp's agent
Rob Jansen has started the rumour mill already by
declaring publicly that DB10 still hasn't had any
contact with The Arsenal regarding an extension
to his annual rolling contract.
A few people in the media are already predicting
an end to the Dutch master's reign with The Champions
of England and all things good in football. Presumably
a bit too premature though.
Jail bird seals Brum move
Birmingham loanee and lamp post
smashing, soap-on-a-rope loving Jermaine Pennant
has sealed his switch to the midland giants on a
permanent basis. Ex-boxer turned football manager
Steve Bruce has said all along he wanted the bad
boy prison tag footballer on a permanent basis.
