March 31st David Rocastle Day

Always remembered never to be forgotten. Today Gooners is David Rocastle Day. Can you believe it's seven years since Rocky was taken from us and to think that he was only 33 as well. I should imagine every Gooner has their own thoughts about Rocky but Allgoonerdup would like everyone to take a minute out and just think about The Arsenal legend and his family. I don't think I have any words at the moment which could put Rocky's death into perspective, however take a couple of minutes to view his displays in this YouTube compilation.

There's a few websites out there which are completely dedicated to David Rocastle, however one of the best ones I've spotted is this one Rocky 7 so jump on there and have a butchers, also top Gooner website Goonerholic who has done his own write up for The Arsenal Legend, do yourselves a favour and have a read of that site.

What a comeback

We can't not comment on the comeback of the season and the heart attack inducing antics of The Arsenal against t'Bolton Wanderers at the weekend. Many a Gooner was in despair on 45 minutes, down to 10 men and finding ourselves two goals down as well, not very pretty. However cue Le Gaffer making a half time chat of historic proportions and still nothing, well apart from t'Bolton still pushing forward. Then he did it, Arsène Wenger took a gamble and it paid off as he took off Nicklas Bendtner and Phillippe 'Swiss Tony' Senderos and replaced them Theo Walcott and Emmanuel Adebayor and what a difference that made. Well I don't need to tell you what happened as I'm sure every Gooner went mental when Jlloyd Samuel put the ball into his own net on 90 minutes to seal a very unlikely but deserved win for the Gunners. C'mon!! We have been lacking luck in the last few games so lets hope this is the turnaround,. Hopefully this is the performance which will light the fire under the boys arses and gives them the impetus to fight tooth and nail and grab some silverware this season.

Allgoonerdup: Tool of the Week section dedicated to a player/manager/ref for being - well basically - a tool
Spurs
A very famous line perhaps one of the most famous lines in English football is 'They think it's all over.... it is now.' Well seems spurs after picking up the Mickey Mouse Cup feel that that's there lot for the season, because they certainly aren't playing properly in the Premier League or are they really that shit (don't answer that, we know the answer). I suppose a big up must go to the Geordie boys who gave the N17 chavs a right stuffing - well done you northern monkeys.
It's a shame that there's plenty of other teams who are more crap than spurs because if they had to battle to save their Premier League status I think it would be touch and go - anyway not all things are to be.

S0, spurs, you've been murked and you're this weeks tools of the week.
