Well after the shambles and the prize fighting by the best pound for pound players around, Manu Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner in that Carling Cup loss to our chavy neighbours the spuds, it's onto the 'proper' cup in domestic football - The FA Cup. Hopefully on show by The Arsenal will be football skills and goals rather than pugilistic and WWE moves. We can only hope I suppose. Seriously though, Le Gaffer Arsène Wenger OBE has said he will rotate the team (now there's a surprise) which basically means there will be more first teamers on show I would of thought that were on show in the said Carling Cup match up.
Our serial sicknote waver, Robin van Persie has already booked his treatment table, for the unforeseeable future by the looks of things too. Joining the young Dutch Darren Anderton on the sidelines in The Arsenal sicknote waving shenanigans are Denilson and Johan Djourou. OK so that's who's definitely not playing, on the cards to return we'll have the likes of Thomas Rosicky, Philippe Senderos and Gael Clichy. Also a surprise return could come in the shape of 'Ze German mentalist' Jens Lehmann who is likely to replace England's future number one Manuel Almunia - how much would Lehmann of loved it to be amongst it during the Carling Cup fisticuffs?
The good news is that the FA have decided not to charge the slapstick antics of Adebayor or Bendtner - which is good news. I have read on other Arsenal sites people actually wanting to have Adebayor banned, training with the kids or even put in a spurs shirt and made to walk down Oxford Circus in rush hour as some sort of punishment. There's a lot to be said about the incident now isn't the time but some people's opinion on the incident has really surprised me. Any road up it's FA Cup action this weekend against northern monkeys Newcastle United who's fans no doubt will be bringing their bare chest and beer belly's to The Grove. Although a man reportedly who wont be making the trip is Joey Barton who's probably doing his weekly skint in some northern jail or fighting some kid in a McDonalds or something. The return of Kevin Keegan the messiah to the northern monkeys will probably see Newcastle have a bit more about them as they will want to impress the former afro sporting world cup singer Keegan and in probably, actually skip that, what is their only hope of silverware this season. We can only hope The Arsenal show the same fight but this time against the team their playing rather than each other.
Any road up, if you want to know a bit more regarding the possible team line ups and trivia, the folks at the Beeb have done all the stats and that malarkey, so have a butchers to get yourself up to speed. The Tale of the tape: The Arsenal versus Newcastle United
Latest news today
'Ze German mentalist' Jens Lehmann: He's staying. End of.
Verdict: The grumpy old man is going nowhere, he's here to terrorise our defence and strikers alike
Luke Freeman: The fifteen year old is apparently only to dot the 'i's' and cross the 't's' and he'll become our new 'English hope'. A deal for the Gillingham youngster is thought to be done and dusted by the weekend.
Verdict: We've nearly got one in! Still a centre back would be nice.

Are Real getting real? Apparently Spanish giants Real Madrid aren't going to 'waste their time' in trying to sign Cesc Fabregas. It seems the Madrid outfit have taken 'will you just f*ck off and keep your hands off our players' on board. Next episode in this saga will be Real Madrid making another summer swoop attempt - mark my words...That's your lot, we out of here, au reviour mon amis...
We are Arsenal.
