Arsenal player ratings versus Manchester City

Lehmann:  I don't think Bipolar could do anything about the goal, I thought he had a fairly comfortable game mainly thanks to the centre backs in front of him who covered well.  6.5

Gallas: Another good captains performance from Willy G, I thought he cleared up really well and nullified the threat from the city front men, solid again. 7.5

Senderos: Big Phil had a really good game, he is slowly starting to click with Willy, he is providing good cover for the much missed lion Touré. I like a lot of others was waiting for that next Senderos blunder, however it  didn't come - so far so good. 8

Clichy: This was his worst performance in a long while, I thought he was way below his usual high standards, saying that, apart from that terrible mistake, he still made some nice crosses and tried to make up for his mistake, everybody has an off day. 6.5

Sagna: Great game from blondie locks again, this lad has slotted in so well, he was solid at the back most of the time, a great assist, and supported the attacking play well. Sagna is among our better players, more of the same please. I thought for most of the time he caused massive problems for Petrov, which was made easy as Petrov is a lazy sod and refused to track back. I was glad he wasn't injured seriously when he went down. 6.5

Hleb: Played well enough, he was more involved today but it was tough for him to manoeuvre especially after our first two goals when there was no space in midfield to get our passing game going. Although Hleb improved towards the end when City gave us a bit more space. 6.5

Fabregas: Nowhere near his best, still he was rather good however his passing is still somewhat of target on times. I thought TheCesc™ improved towards the end and controlled our midfield rather well. 6.5

Diaby: Time and time again Diaby lost too many balls because his reaction was not good enough. This lad needs to learn when to pass the ball more as he slowed down our attacking play at times by losing the ball. Diaby's defensive play was rather decent though, he also made a cracking defensive header in the first half, he is getting there. 6.5

Flamini: This lad must cover some miles during the game, The Flamster was definitely our most productive midfielder in this game. I just hope Flamster puts pen to paper as soon as possible, as the performances he's been putting in it wont be just Juventus sniffing around. 7.5

Eduardo: What a goal, class or what? His quick thinking is spot on. He just keeps turning up in the right place, he is like a ghost in the box , his awareness in the box is truly outstanding, have we got a good un or what? 7.5

Adebayor: MOTM and for me and a lot of other methinks. Man of the moment, his two goals and the assist warrants high praise indeed. Today again his work rate was outstanding, he was a constant threat and menace to arguably a solid city defence, it was a joy to see him in action today and long may it continue. 9

spurs
The scum were seconds from a victory against the Manc's but such is their desire not to possibly see The Arsenal pick up another Premier League title - they let United score with the last kick of the game. Still, better to get that game played now and not the last one of the season - because we all remember what happen there a few years back.
S0, trotts, you've been murked you chavy lot and you're this weeks tools of the week.
