Arsenal player ratings versus Birmingham City

Almunia - The blond one didn't have much to do, but probably should've saved the free kick. 6

Sagna - Played well another solid performance from him, I thought he supported Walcott well 7

Gallas - I thought in spite of everything he had a decent game, but let the late penalty get to him, sad behaviour come the final whistle, not what you would expect of a good captain. 7

Senderos - Another solid performance from big Phil , still improving and is covering will for the Lion. 7.5

Clichy - Got turned over once or twice, and dropped a massive bollock for the late penalty, a disastrous lack of concentration cost us 2 points. 5

../../../images/Frontpage/Shop_banners/AGUShopBannerA.gif

Walcott - Not too active I thought in the first half, but he seemed to explode and step up in second half, I hope this double will boost his confidence and he will be able to fill the gap left by Fast Edu's injury 8

Fabregas - I thought he had a good game, and is more like his old self, he looked visibly shaken by the horror tackle on Eduardo. 7

Flamini - Was everywhere as usual, but made a few silly fouls in some dangerous places. He was just as responsible as Clichy for the penalty, because he failed to deal with the ball by clearing out and making it safe. 6.5

Hleb - Did well a lot of the time, but you could say he let the team down a little by not shooting, when is this lad going to let rip, still trying for the perfect pass, shoot more for god's sake. 7

Adebayor - Well off today, a bit like the Milan game, he didn't seem to be firing on all cylinders and his passing was poor, WTF did he not pass the ball to Bendtner? Greedy Ade Greedy. 6

Eduardo - N/A Good luck son and a speedy recovery.

Bendtner - Didn't do a lot did he, two shots one much to wide and the other was poor as well. 5

Denilson - N/A Not enough time.

Gilberto - N/A Same for Bert.

Calling all Gooners - Win an Arsenal Opus with O2

Now unless you've been in hiding or just don't care for any current goings on, you should all by now of heard of the The Arsenal Opus. And guess what? That's right you lucky people, you can get your grubbing little hands on one glorious historical epic of a book, straight up, no messing. And it's starring Arsenal FC.

Allgoonerdup: Arsenal fans web site - Image Arsenal Opus you can win it here!As we know, trilogy's are nearly always on the cards. First there was the Old Testament, then someone decided to re-write it  and to shift some more units they gave it the New Testament as a title. Well Gooners hang onto your shorts as the latest edition of bibles are released and it even has bigger and better title - The Arsenal Opus!

The Arsenal Opus has now moved into the Phase two. Phase one saw Gooners submitting their own or favourite photographs for Monsieur Wenger to choose 11 of the best, however you must know of this already, if not, well tough, the next bit is the important bit. Monsieur Wenger has a starting 11 of pictures sent in by you good people. The winning shot will be published in the winners very own Arsenal Opus. Hooraah!

Arsenal Opus is  truly is a massive book and at 35kilos weighing in slightly more than Gael Clichy. The Arsenal Opus is truly a cracking read about the entire history of Arsenal, for starters is its 850 pages long, there's over 2000 pictures to get through for the less wordy bunch amongst you. For comparison, the 'Peter and Jane Sp*rs Opus' is 3 pages (includes 1 page for 'Notes' and all pictures of their glory moments).

The Arsenal Opus covers everything from the conception of the club, the great Herbert Chapman era of the 1930's, what bungs George Graham took, who the hell Bruce Rioch was, and what drugs Arsene was on when he signed Alberto Mendez and Frannie Jeffers. As devout followers of the word of Arsene, I reckon it is definitely worth a look see. We're not quite finished with the oohs and aahs as all Arsenal Opus' are worth £3000 (about the value of the Sp*rs keeper) and are signed by Arsene himself.

The Arsenal Opus will be presented to a very lucky smug looking winner by Arsene Wenger. To get your chance at winning 35kilos of proof of your support the best team since the dawn of time, all you need to do is decide which of the final 11 photos handpicked by Arsene you think 'best captures the Arsenal spirit'. So get going and enter this great competition. As well as a chance to win The Arsenal Opus you can win other great Arsenal merchandise and tickets. So what you waiting for, stop reading this and jump on for your chance to win The Arsenal Opus with O2.

Good luck Gooners.

Get well Fast Eddie

We're joining an ever growing list of well wishers for Crozilian hitman Eduardo who got maimed by northern monkey Birmingham City player Martin Taylor. A couple sites have the photos, I suggest you go to them if you want to see the damage, I wont be showing that sort of x-rated material on my show. Eduardo has spoken about the incident and we all hope he has a speedy recovery.

Best wishes Fast Eddie - from all at Allgoonerdup.

60 Second Round-up

Spurs win the world cup : Er oh sorry - given the scenes at Wembley I thought Spurs had won the World Cup. Pikey Keane was crying, the other players were jumping around, the chav fans were all amongst it and celebrating as if they had lifted the biggest trophy known in football. However it appears it was the Carling Cup the pikey N17 chavs had won. Oh well I guess the handy man down at Shite Hart Lane has something to stick in the trophy cabinet alongside all them cobwebs... That's your lot, we out of here, au reviour mon amis...

We are Arsenal. Until next time Gooners.

William Gallas
When we needed our captain to stand up and be counted, to rally the troops, to lead by example, to show our kids some strength, to show them some leadership (you get the picture) he simply sulked off and threw a strop. That might be the way that do it as CSKA Chelsea but not here my friend. Get a grip and make sure you 'turn up' for the game against Villa - we need you mentally and physically - after all - you are the captain.
S0, Gallas, you've been murked and you're this weeks tools of the week.
