Roadtrip upnorth

The Arsenal party bus takes a trip upnorth straight up the M6 to Manchester as The Arsenal boys take a break from playing Newcastle United and have a go at dismantling Manchester City. The northern monkey outfit with randy FA secretary serial shagger Sven-Goran Eriksson in charge have fallen off the pace in recent weeks after going great guns and having a home reckon to die for. How things have changed, the second half of the season sees Manchester Citeh struggling a bit for form - so what a better time for the Gunners to appear on their door step.

Ahead of the game there's the usual injury news and sicknote waving shenanigans with messrs Robin van Persie, Tomáš Rosický, Johan Djourou and Denilson sitting this one out keeping the workaholic Gary Lewin very busy indeed. The team may be slightly refreshed from the game against the Geordie's, however I think the team pretty much picks itself, with the back five being the usual suspects Almunia, Sagna, Senderos, Gallas and new recruit to the French squad Clichy picking themselves. The midfield is a bit more guess work as apart from Mathieu Flamini, Cesc Fabregas and Hleb being I would of thought certain starters, with a choice of Theo Walcott or Abou Diaby lining up alongside them - my money is on Diaby getting the nod and a perfect way for him to show why he signed up recently until 2012. The front line will be man of he moment Manu Adebayor alongside anyone from Eduardo, Nicklas Bendtner or once again the boy Theo. If I was to put my neck out I would say Eduardo would get the nod but after starting against Newcastle Monsieur Wenger could persevere with the boy Theo and boy does he need a big game. Hopefully the decision to stay at The Arsenal and not go out on loan (being if that was true in the first place) will be justified and the second half of the season sees the youngster blow up - something all Gooners are hoping.

Anyhoo the match up with northern monkeys Manchester City will be another great 'test' for The youthful Arsenal side as there will be key battles all over the pitch. However given current form you would of thought The Arsenal will have too much for the Citeh boys and knowing Manchester USA will pick up their routine three points from their travels against the scum at Shite Hart Lane, The Arsenal need to get a result to stay in contention.

Any road up, if you want to know a bit more regarding the possible team line ups and trivia, the folks at the Beeb have done all the stats and that malarkey, so have a butchers to get yourself up to speed. The Tale of the tape: Manchester Citeh vs The Arsenal

spurs fans
It was only one game, and it was against The Arsenal B team, so get over it already. Your first win in 9 years, yes 9 years, count them. Anyone would of thought you won the World Cup. And now your club is bringing out commemorative mugs - are you people that sad? Well the spurs shop probably did get one bit of marketing right - a right dodgy mug for a bunch of mugs.
S0, trotts, you've been murked you chavy lot and you're this weeks tools of the week.
